Transitions are times of change

As your career changes, so might you. You know how to lead. You might not yet know who you are leading as. I work with executives in just that space. Not to rush you into the new role, but to help you meet it clearly, so what you build next is intentional.

Navigating career changes

Most executives arrive here mid-sentence. The old certainties of what you were responsible for, who reported to you, what your judgment was for are loosening, and the new ones have not quite arrived. You might notice yourself reaching for old habits that no longer fit, or feeling unsettled by reactions from people around you that don’t quite make sense yet.

That unsettling phase is not a problem to fix quickly. It is information and data. Working together over four phases, we slow down enough to actually read what is shifting in your role, in your relationships and how you see your own judgment. Before deciding what patterns and habits to carry forward and what to leave behind.

The outcome is not just your increased confidence going into the next role. It is your capacity to hold complexity without needing to resolve it prematurely. Usually the things that made you so effective in the first place, are very things that put transitions under real pressure.

Services

Transition Coaching and Facilitation

Transition Coaching

One-to-one work, usually over 3 or 6 months, for executives in the middle of a role change, industry move, or identity shift that has not fully landed yet. We work through four phases noticing what’s actually shifting, making sense of it, testing new ground, and consolidating what you are taking forward. This is not advice about your next career move. It is the space to think clearly enough that the move is intentional.

Top Team Facilitation

Executive teams do not transition individually, they transition together, unevenly, often without saying so out loud. I design and facilitate sessions (virtual, in-person, or hybrid) that give a team the room to work out loud: what is changing, where people actually disagree, and what the team needs to hold together through it. This is for leadership groups navigating change collectively, not a skills or competence training day.

What clients say

References & Partnerships

Monika Steinleher Group Lead

Working with Annie during my transition gave me the confidence to explore different angles and ideas, even goals. The process we followed was very accessible but also powerful enough to allow me to reflect on my own values and what mattered most.

Annette Liebau Partner

Annie and I worked together producing executive programs. Not only did she work in true partnership with me, but she was in tune with what really works with leaders in transition, changing and moving modules in a practical way when needed.

Avner Shalal Managing Director

Working with Annie over high profile transitions has given me the confidence to address complex situations and the many multiple stakeholders my role change demands.

Fatema Nekounam Writer

As an introvert, I need a safe space free from judgment to flourish. Annie created that from the first minute and facilitated change with fun and meaningful exercises. She has the right tools to unlock my potential and lets me decide what works for me best by walking me through the process in clear, understandable, and highly achievable steps. At the end of each week, I witness changes that come to me effortlessly and naturally.

Mandy Sisson Head of Learning and Development

[...] Her strength was the way she brought stakeholders on the journey and also that she created a sustainable solution to peer-peer coaching. 5 years down the track, the programme and concept is still alive, it has been adapted and built on. This is only possible because of the solid foundations she put in place.

Faye Freeman CEO

I very much appreciated the support as I transitioned into my new role. It was really useful to have a sparring partner during the process of change.

“Change doesn’t happen because one person decides to change. It happens in the ongoing back-and-forth between people, the patterns they keep making together.”
